Help a Hog be Happy!!

Our Jack’s mate Shereda Rose asked him to write a song in support of hedgehog preservation. Jack turned his prodigious talents to laying down  a track for it, playing synth drums, bass guitar, keyboards and electric guitars (told you he was talented) and enlisted me to write a lyric.

I came up with some words, put down the vocal and a bit of mouth harp and Jack, me and Lynda added some backing vocals. I posted the finished track on this blog for anyone who wants a listen, as you will see to the lower right of this page

Today, the British Hedgehog Preservation Society emailed me to tell me that they have posted ‘Help a Hog be Happy’ on their website. Yay! Jack, Shereda Rose, Lynda and I hope that it will indeed, in some way, help some hogs be happy.

If you want to know about practical and more direct ways of helping to preserve our little prickly mates, please follow this link to the British Hedgehog Preservation Society to see what we can all do lend a hand.

You can find my ‘Help a Hog be Happy’ lyric on my Poetry page.

Hedgehogs are brilliant little creatures. We are lucky to share our world with them and they need all the help we can give them. Please give as generously as you can of your time and of your money to help a hog be happy.
